Many arrangements cover food and fresh water according to instructions, agreed litter or toileting care and a visual check of behaviour and the environment. A sitter reports changes rather than attempting a diagnosis.
Play, attention or another suitable activity can fit when the animal is receptive and the visit allows it. A fearful or hiding pet should not be forced into contact.
