Conditions of Use and Terms of Service

1. Introduction and Acceptance

These Conditions of Use ("Conditions") regulate the terms of access and use of the www.petrandevu.com website and mobile applications ("Platform") operated by Rendexo Bilgi Teknolojileri Yazılım Eğitim ve Danışmanlık Ticaret Limited Şirketi ("Petrandevu", "Company", "We"). Anyone who registers on or visits the Platform ("User") declares that they have fully read, understood, and unconditionally accepted these terms.

2. Legal Status of the Platform

2.1. Intermediary Service Provider:Petrandevu is an "Intermediary Service Provider" in accordance with the Law on the Regulation of Electronic Commerce No. 6563. The Platform is a marketplace that brings together pet owners ("Service Receiver") and individuals providing care services ("Service Provider").

2.2. No Service Guarantee: Petrandevu makes no commitment regarding the quality, timing, safety, or legality of the service provided by the Service Providers. The contractual relationship is established directly between the Service Receiver and the Service Provider.

2.3. Not an Employer: Service Providers are not employees, representatives, or agents of Petrandevu. They work as independent contractors on their own behalf and account.

3. Rules for Using the Service

3.1. Eligibility and Account Security

• You must be at least 18 years old to use the services.
• The identity, contact, and address information you provide must be accurate and up-to-date. Petrandevu reserves the right to request identity verification (TR ID No, Phone confirmation, etc.).

3.2. Prohibited Activities

• Opening an account on behalf of someone else or letting someone else use your account.
• Directing to off-platform payment methods (cash, IBAN, etc.) (see Article 5).
• Registering dangerous animals with a history of aggression in the system.

4. Pet Health and Emergencies

4.1. Medical Authority: If the pet requires emergency medical intervention during the reservation period, the Service Receiver authorizes the Service Provider in advance to consult a veterinarian and have the necessary intervention performed.

4.2. Expenses: Emergency veterinary expenses, transportation costs, and all related expenses are entirely the responsibility of the Service Receiver (Pet Owner). Petrandevu cannot be held responsible for these expenses.

4.3. Vaccination and Health:The Service Receiver guarantees that all of their pet's vaccinations are complete, parasite treatments have been applied, and it does not have a disease that can be transmitted to humans or other animals. Otherwise, the Service Receiver is responsible for the resulting damages.

5. Payments and Commissions

5.1. Payment via Platform:All payments are made through Petrandevu's contracted licensed payment institution (e.g., Iyzico) using the "Secure Payment" infrastructure.

5.2. Service Fee:Petrandevu may collect a "Service Fee" from the Service Receiver in exchange for the operation and development of the platform. This fee is clearly shown on the payment screen and is non-refundable.

5.3. Prohibition of Off-Platform Transactions (Non-Circumvention): Users undertake not to conduct transactions by bypassing the Platform in subsequent periods (for 24 months) with individuals they first contacted via the Platform. If this violation is detected, Petrandevu has the right to demand a penalty of €5,000 per transaction.

6. Home Access and Security

In cases where the service type (e.g., Home Visit or Dog Walking) requires entering the Service Receiver's home:

• Key Handover: How the key will be handed over and retrieved must be agreed upon in writing (via Platform messaging) between the parties.
• Privacy: The Service Provider undertakes not to enter rooms other than those necessary for the performance of the service, not to use the items in the house, and to respect privacy.
• Security Camera: If there are recording security cameras in the house, the Service Receiver is obliged to inform the Service Provider in advance (as per KVKK).

7. Disclaimer of Liability and Indemnification

Petrandevu is N O T responsible for; (i) the actions of the Service Provider or the Service Receiver, (ii) the escape, injury, or death of the pet, (iii) the damage or theft of items in the house.

The User accepts that they are personally responsible for any damage they may cause to third parties during the use of the Platform or the performance of the Service, and in the event of any claim directed against Petrandevu, they will indemnify Petrandevu together with all its accessories.
